WINTERS, Calif. — November 4, 2026, evening editorial review. Winters Joint Unified School District’s $29.9 million Measure B bond faces a close approval-threshold question following the November 3 election. The Yolo County official unofficial count at 1:37 a.m. November 4 shows 1,038 Yes votes (54.46%) and 868 No votes (45.54%) in the Yolo County portion. School bond Measure B requires 55% voter approval, so the Yolo-only figures are 0.54 percentage points below that threshold.
The district crosses a county boundary
Winters Joint Unified also has voters in Solano County. The Solano results snapshot published by Local News Matters shows 81 Yes and 101 No on the measure in that county, or 44.51% Yes and 55.49% No. Those Solano and Yolo counts come from differently timed releases and are presented separately to avoid implying a synchronized districtwide tally. The final bond outcome depends on the combined official canvass across all participating precincts.
What Measure B would fund
According to the county election’s ballot materials, the proposed bond would raise funding to renovate deteriorating classrooms, repair roofs, improve restrooms and replace aging plumbing and sewer facilities. The measure projects approximately $49 in annual property taxes per $100,000 of assessed valuation while bonds are outstanding and includes a citizens’ oversight committee and independent audits.
When the next figures will arrive
Yolo County says its next scheduled post-election results release is November 6 by 5 p.m. Pacific. Solano County may operate on a different update schedule. California58 will not declare Measure B defeated or approved on partial, uncoordinated early tallies.
